Pop powerhouse Dua Lipa brought the house down at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night as she stunned 70,000 fans by inviting Charli XCX to join her on stage during the second night of her sold-out UK tour.
The 29-year-old Levitating singer electrified the crowd as she introduced the British pop icon, 32, with a cheeky shoutout: “So this next song, I thought I’d bring a friend out. Let me tell you, she is the biggest brat. Give it up for Charli XCX!”
The pair then delivered a high-energy performance of Charli’s hit track 360, instantly sending the stadium into a frenzy as fans danced and sang along to the surprise duet.
Dua, known for her signature style and powerful vocals, dazzled in a series of head-turning outfits throughout the night, including a sequin silver bodysuit, sheer blue gown with a thigh-high slit, and a lace jumpsuit, all paired with killer heels and statement accessories.
The performance followed an emotional Friday night debut at Wembley, where Dua broke down in tears while thanking fans for their decade of support. “It is 10 years since our first ever London show to about 350 people and I just dreamt of a night like this,” she said.
As if one special guest wasn’t enough, the Training Season singer had kicked off the weekend by bringing out 90s funk legend Jamiroquai, aka Jay Kay, on Friday night. Paying tribute, Dua said: “This is someone who really inspired me when I first started out… a massive trailblazer in music.”
The Wembley shows are part of Dua Lipa’s massive stadium tour in support of her new album Radical Optimism, and Saturday’s spectacle included iconic hits like One Kiss, New Rules, Be The One, These Walls, and Barbie's Dance, with the stadium transformed into a euphoric dance party.
Support acts for the evening included American singer Dove Cameron and British newcomer Alessi Rose, who helped set the stage for what is already being hailed as one of the pop events of the year. With back-to-back sold-out shows, high-profile guests, and unforgettable moments, Dua Lipa has cemented her place as one of the biggest pop stars on the planet.
