Minister Consular Affairs for US Mission in Pakistan Eric Cohan said Punjab is home to approximately 25,000 U.S citizens, the largest resident population in Pakistan (60,000 plus).
“One of the best ways to stay in touch for US citizens for living in and visiting Pakistan is through STEP, the Department of State’s Smart Trailer Enrolment Programme.”
The US Consulate in Lahore in a tweet said that during this global health crisis, it’s more important than ever for American citizens to register for STEP to receive the latest information.
