Popular cricketer Mohammed Siraj and actress Mahira Sharma have lately dismissed swirling rumors regarding their alleged romance.
Mahira Sharma has made an appearance at an award event in Mumbai where some photographers teased her playfully about the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) and the team she would prefer.
The lighthearted words were captured on video that subsequently went viral on social media.
While responding to the video, the cricketer took to his Instagram story in order to request photographers to avoid inquiring about him from others: however, he did not specify anyone in his post.
He wrote in the post: “I request paparazzi to stop asking questions around me. It is completely untrue and baseless. I hope this ends.”
In contrast, actress Mahira Sharma also took to her Instagram handle and without naming anyone she wrote: “Stop spreading rumors. I am not dating anyone.” She also added a folded hand emoticon in the story.
It is important to mention that dating rumors regarding Muhammad Siraj and Mahira Sharma have been circulating for several months: however, a few back, ETimes claimed that Mahira and Siraj are "romantically involved."
The report further claimed that as per a close source of theirs, the duo is dating and keeping their relationship private.
It all fueled up when the cricketer Siraj liked one of the Instagram uploads of Mahira Sharma.
