President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif conferred the Baton of Field Marshal on General Syed Asim Munir during a ceremony in Islamabad on Thursday.
The former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Federal Cabinet members, Service Chiefs, Chief Ministers and Governors of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan were present during the ceremony.
