Pakistani actress Kinza Hashmi has finally addressed the viral controversy involving actor Ali Raza and a fan during a crowded public meet and greet event.

The controversy erupted after a video from the event surfaced online showing Ali Raza forcefully moving a male fan aside while Kinza Hashmi appeared surrounded by a large crowd attempting to take pictures with her.

The clip quickly triggered mixed reactions online, especially after the fan later posted his own emotional response video claiming he felt insulted and humiliated by the actor’s behavior.

However, Kinza Hashmi has now shared an Instagram Story defending Ali Raza while also speaking openly about the importance of personal boundaries for women in public spaces.

“I usually stay quiet on things like this, but I think this needs to be cleared once and for all,” Kinza wrote at the beginning of her statement.

Addressing the incident directly, the actress explained that although the event was organized as a meet and greet, it did not give anyone the right to invade her personal space or make her feel physically uncomfortable.

According to Kinza, many men at the event respectfully requested photographs while maintaining proper boundaries, but she claimed one individual crossed the line by coming extremely close to her.

“The moment he came too close and I got uncomfortable, Ali Raza noticed it immediately and reacted,” she explained.

While acknowledging that the situation perhaps could have been handled more calmly, Kinza defended Ali Raza’s intentions.

“There was absolutely no intention to insult or humiliate anyone,” she added.

The actress further emphasized that being a public figure does not mean women lose their right to personal space or the ability to feel uncomfortable in crowded situations.

“Just because a woman is a public figure does not mean she stops deserving personal space,” Kinza wrote while urging people not to normalize crossing boundaries.

In another part of her statement, Kinza Hashmi strongly defended Ali Raza’s character amid growing criticism online.

“And I’ve always seen Ali Raza treat his fans with love and respect. He genuinely values them and always tries to make them feel special,” she stated.

She further requested social media users not to judge the actor’s entire personality based on a single tense moment captured during a crowded event.

“One moment from a crowded situation should not define his entire nature or intentions,” the actress added.

The controversy intensified a day earlier after the fan involved in the incident publicly shared his side of the story.

Following Kinza Hashmi’s clarification, social media users continue to remain divided, with some supporting her stance on women’s safety and boundaries while others believe celebrities should handle fans more gently during public appearances.
