A portion of the false ceiling collapsed inside an operation theatre at Lahore General Hospital on Friday, though no injuries were reported in the incident, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.
The incident occurred in the plastic surgery department’s operation theatre, where part of the ceiling suddenly caved in, raising concerns over the condition of the facility’s infrastructure.
According to initial reports, no patient or member of the hospital staff was present inside the operation theatre at the time of the incident, preventing any casualties.
Hospital authorities have yet to issue a detailed statement regarding the cause of the collapse or possible damage caused to the operation theatre.
