College principal Burhan Hamza Ahmed, who was seriously injured in a gun attack in Muzaffarabad yesterday, succumbed to his wounds on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to report, Burhan Hamza Ahmed was undergoing treatment at Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Hospital.
Police had arrested the attacker while he was fleeing while the shocked local residents mourned the gruesome murder of Burhan Hamza.
Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz took notice of the attack on Burhan Hamza and sought a report on the incident.
Prime Minister has directed a transparent investigation into the incident.
