A soldier embraced martyrdom in a firefight between troops and terrorists in the South Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ISPR said on Tuesday.
During an intense exchange of fire, 39-year-old Havaldar Umer Hayat from Kohat embraced martyrdom, the military media wing said, adding that the martyred soldier is a resident of Kohat. The hunt for the terrorists is on. The lawmen are determined to eliminate terrorism and peace will be maintained at all costs.
