A banking court in Lahore on Saturday issued arrest warrants for Federal Deputy Secretary of Finance Sehar Mannoo and her husband Qadeer Ashfaq for handing a bogus cheque, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the hearing of the case, the banking court ordered Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Lahore to arrest Sehar Mannoo and her husband and produce them before the court on December 9, 2025.
The lawyer of the bank argued that Deputy Secretary of Finance Sehar Mannoo and her husband Qadeer Ishfaq obtained a loan worth Rs100 million from the bank for the construction of a home.
He further informed the court that Sehar Mannoo and her husband gave a bogus cheque to them to clear the outstanding loan.
After hearing the arguments, the court adjourned the hearing till December 9, 2025.
