Mustafa Kamal assures redressal of all issues regarding MDCAT syllabus

Federal Minister for National Health Services Mustafa Kamal, has said that all the issues regarding the syllabus of the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) have been addressed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, he expressed confidence that the MDCAT, scheduled for the 26th of this month, will be one of the best exams in the country’s history.

He mentioned that Pakistan Medical and Dental Council has prepared a common syllabus after consultations with the stakeholders. Hence, there is no concern regarding out-of-syllabus questions this time. He elaborated that a question bank of six thousand questions was created from the common syllabus, with each province receiving three papers. He said it is now up to the provinces to decide which paper they will select for the examination.

The Minister for National Health Services said 140,290 candidates have registered for the MDCAT while twenty-two thousand seats are available. He said thirty-three centers have been established to conduct the test.
