In a horrifying act of brutality, militants belonging to the terrorist outfit Fitna al-Khawarij set a vehicle on fire in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, killing six unarmed civilians who were inside, reported 24NewsHD TV Wednesday.
According to local sources, the militants doused the vehicle with petrol and set it ablaze after the victims allegedly refused to pay ransom. Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a large-scale search operation to track down those involved.
Residents of Mir Ali condemned the barbaric act, calling on the government and security forces to protect them from the ongoing atrocities of the militants. “We request the government to save us from these beasts. What kind of Islam and what kind of jihad is this, where innocent people are burned alive out of personal hatred?” said a local resident.
Quoting the Holy Quran, the people of the area reminded that Allah Almighty commands in Surah Al-Hujurat (49:9):
“And if two groups of believers fight each other, then make peace between them. But if one of them transgresses against the other, then fight the group that is rebelling until it returns to the command of Allah.”
Officials said operations will continue in the region until those responsible for this heinous act are brought to justice and peace is fully restored in North Waziristan.
