An Army soldier was martyred in an attack on a Pakistani post from across the border in Bajaur sector late Monday night, said a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday.
The ISPR said the soldier embraced martyrdom in the firing that came from across the Afghan border. The soldier was identified as 24-year-old Sepoy Sabir Shah.
The ISPR said Pakistan has been consistently raising the issue for border management on the other side to avoid the use of Afghanistan’s soil against Pakistan.
