Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Usman Younis has permitted the exhibition of stage dramas in Lahore from Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
This decision was made after the representatives of the delegation community held many meetings with the commissioner
Chairman of Punjab Artists and Producers Theatre Association Qaiser Sanaullah Khan, who was shot and injured by unidentified bushwhackers, months ago said, “Plays will be screened in all private theatres in the city from tomorrow”.
For one and half month, theatre artists were unemployed, Qaiser added.
