Harry Styles stunned fans and onlookers in Berlin on Sunday after completing the city’s world-renowned marathon under a false name and breaking his personal best in the process.

The Watermelon Sugar hitmaker, 31, signed up under the alias Sted Sarandos in a bid to keep a low profile among the 50,000 participants.

But despite his attempt at anonymity, the pop star caught attention when he crossed the finish line in an impressive 2 hours, 59 minutes and 13 seconds, his first sub-three-hour marathon.

The time marked a significant improvement from his previous effort at the Tokyo Marathon in March, where he clocked 3:24:07.

His Berlin run averaged a 6:50-per-mile pace. For comparison, the men’s race winner, Kenya’s Sabastian Sawe, posted a world-leading 2:02:16.

Styles blended into the crowd by donning a long-sleeved top, black shorts, sunglasses, a headband, and red running shoes.

Organisers later confirmed the One Direction star’s participation, sparking excitement among fans online.

Clips of Harry jogging through Berlin quickly circulated on X (formerly Twitter), with fans praising his dedication. Messages included: “That’s fantastic! Proud of you Harry”; “So impressive!”; “Truly an icon.”

The Grammy winner’s athletic milestone comes just days after he was spotted in Tuscany on a romantic getaway with actress Zoë Kravitz, 36.

The pair were seen walking hand-in-hand through the Italian countryside and later flying out of JFK Airport together, further fueling speculation about their blossoming relationship.

Styles has increasingly embraced endurance sports in recent years, balancing his music career with demanding training schedules. His Tokyo and Berlin finishes place him among a growing list of celebrities testing their limits on the marathon circuit.
