The Federal Directorate of Immunisation (FDI) has removed Dr Iram Naveed from the post of Director (Technical), ending a controversy over the appointment of a Grade 17 officer to a Grade 19 position.
According to a notification, Dr Iram Naveed has been directed to report back to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital.
The notification states that Dr Iram Naveed is a Grade 17 medical officer at PIMS.
She had been serving as Director (Technical) at the FDI, a position carrying Grade 19.
Her removal follows questions over the posting of a Grade 17 officer against the senior Grade 19 position at the Federal Directorate of Immunisation.
The notification formally ends her assignment at the FDI and directs her to resume duties at PIMS.
