The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Saturday claimed it had arrested seven militants belonging to Al-Qaeda, Daesh, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other outfits besides recovering explosives and hate literature from them as a result of intelligence-based operations it carried out across Punjab in recent days, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Force said it had also registered six cases against those taken into custody.
Giving names of those arrested, it said these were Abdul Aziz, Rasheed Ahmed, Abdul Aziz, Muhammad Arshad, Ghulam Hussain, Atiqur Rehman and Muhammad Owais Khan.
