Two people drowned in the Ravi River near Kartarpur in Shakargarh on Thursday evening. One victim 45-year-old man body has been recovered while 12-year-old boy’s body is still missing.
Rescue teams were conducting search operation for the recovery of the body. Police said that both the drowning men had gone to the Ravi to catch fish. The rescue operation was stopped at night to search for the boy.
