Police in Karachi have registered a case after an officer of Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) was shot and injured in Clifton area, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Two men came to blows in Clifton area after a collision between their vehicles, following which man named Agha Shamir, who is son of retired DSP Agha Asghar Pathan, opened fire on the FBR inspector, injuring his seriously.
The injured FBR official and the accused both belonged to Shikarpur.
The police said they had registered a case and have launched a hunt to trace the accused.
