LHC notifies transfers and postings of 14 district and sessions judges

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued a notification regarding the transfer and posting of 14 District and Sessions Judges. The four district and sessions judges have been posted as OSDs in the Sessions Court Lahore.

After approval from LHC Chief Justice, Justice Aalia Neelum, the notification has been issued.

According to the notification, Sessions Judge Okara Shahzad Raza, Sessions Judge Sahiwal Ziaullah, Sessions Judge Sheikhupura Naim Sheikh, and Sessions Judge Vehari Sardar Iqbal Dogar have been posted as OSDs in the Sessions Court Lahore. The Sessions Judge Sargodha Qamar Sultan has been transferred and posted as District and Sessions Judge Gujrat. Sessions Judge Bhakkar Abid Hussain has been transferred and posted to Sheikhupura, while Sessions Judge Mandi Bahauddin Nadeem Shaukat has been transferred to Okara.

Sessions Judge Rahim Yar Khan Aamer Saleem Rana has been transferred to Mandi Bahauddin, while Sessions Judge Kasur Rehan Bashir has been posted to Bhakkar. Sessions Judge Nankana Sahib Faisal Ahmed has been transferred to Sahiwal. Likewise, Sessions Judge Rawalpindi Nasir Hussain has been posted in Mianwali, while Sessions Judge Mianwali Syed Asghar Ali has been transferred to Rawalpindi. Sessions Judge Dera Ghazi Khan, Judge Muhammad Abbas has been transferred to Vehari and Sessions Judge Gujrat Ijaz-ur-Rehman has been posted to Sargodha.

Furthermore, Judge Special Court for Narcotics Lahore Naveed Anjum Salimi has been posted as District and Sessions Judge Nankana Sahib. Anti-Corruption Court Sargodha Judge Izhar-ul-Haq has been posted as District and Sessions Judge Rahim Yar Khan, while Customs, Taxation and Anti-Smuggling (CT&AS-II) Lahore Judge Ahmed Nawaz Khan has been posted as District and Sessions Judge Kasur. Chairperson Drug Court Gujranwala Muhammad Ata Rabbani has been transferred and posted as District and Sessions Judge Dera Ghazi Khan.

The notification further states that all transferred judges have been directed to assume charge at their new postings by April 27.
