A mysterious dacoity case was resolved when four policemen, including a station house officer (SHO), were found involved in the crime in Quetta and were fired from their jobs, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
All the policemen snatched a car from its owner after tying his arms and legs.
The terminated policemen include Sub-Inspector Mohammad Rafiq Qaisarani, Assistant Sub-Inspector Syed Alam, and two other cops.
The accused, after snatching the car, threw the owner of the car into a deserted place in Quetta and escaped from the scene with the vehicle.
After completion of inquiry, Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG) dismissed all the policemen from service and directed registration of a case against them.
Police initiated an investigation based on an application filed by the car's owner.
