Two children died due to electric shock when they tried to rescue their mother who cried for help while switching off a water pump button in Wazirabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to rescue detail, the wife of Ilyas screamed after getting electric shock from water pump, at which her son and daughter ran to help her, both children die after being electrocuted while saving their mother. The son Zain Fareed was 12 years old and daughter Sawera was 9 years old.
Ilyas, a resident of Multan, was residing with his family at the dera of local landlord Nawaz Cheema. The incident took place in the outskirts of Kanbanwala.
The injured mother and the dead bodies have been shifted to the district headquarter hospital.
