The Lahore Multan Motorway from Jaranwala to Darkhana has been closed due to fog, a spokesperson said on Friday.
Motorway M4 from Faisalabad to Abdul Hakeem and from Jaranwala to Darkhana have also been closed to avert any untoward incident during fog-fall, Spokesperson Syed Imran Ahmed said.
The official has laid stress on adopting safety measures, saying Motorists should use fog lights. People should avoid unnecessary travel. Speed and distance limits should be followed.”
Road users can contact helpline 130 in case of emergency, he said that for more information can be obtained from Motorway Police Humsafar app.
