A rejected lover in Hafizabad shot at his sweetheart on her refusal to marry him while ended his own life by blowing his brains out, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Reportedly, a man identified as Boota was in love with a woman named Sana. He wanted to marry him. But the girl did not agree and declined to tie knot with him.
The mad-in-love boy could not bear his rejection and entered Sana’s house in Kaleki Ki Mandi area of Hafizabad. He shot at her, severely injuring her. After that, he put the pistol on his head and blew his brains out.
Police reached the crime scene and started investigation.
Rescue officials shifted the dead body of Boota and critically injured Sana to a local hospital.
However, the girl was later referred to Lahore due to her serious condition.
