Opening private schools for educational activities during winter vacations has been banned, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
In this regard, the District Education Authority Lahore has formed committees of 5 tehsils headed by Deputy DEOs.
The committees will visit their respective tehsils and report to the Education Authority Lahore.
District Education Authority warned that strict action will be taken against the institutions concerned for opening schools against government orders.
Heavy fine or license will be cancelled for opening schools against orders, the Education Authority warned.
