President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday attended a dinner hosted in his honor by former Punjab Governor Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Mehmood at his residence in Model Town, Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Earlier on arrival at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport, President Zardari was warmly welcomed by Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider.
Prominent among those who attended the dinner were Sultan Gohar, Murtaza Mehmood, Mustafa Mehmood and Ali Mehmood.
Soon after the dinner party, the president left for Bilawal House in Lahore.
