The federal government has issued notifications for a series of appointments and transfers in the bureaucracy, according to the Establishment Division.
Muhammad Shahid Hussain, who was serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation, has been transferred and appointed as Chairman of the Pakistan Tobacco Board. He has also been assigned additional charge of CEO, Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation.
In another development, Musaddiq Ahmed Khan, a Grade 22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, has been appointed as Secretary, National Food Security Division. He was previously serving as Chairman of the Pakistan Tobacco Board.
Meanwhile, the services of Benish Noor, a Grade 18 officer of the Office Management Group posted in the National Highway Authority (NHA), have been returned to the Establishment Division. Similarly, the services of Tayyab Tarar, a Grade 17 officer of the Office Management Group posted in NHA, have also been placed at the disposal of the Establishment Division.
Official notifications regarding these appointments and transfers have been issued by the Establishment Division.
