Following reports of alleged fraud involving Pakistani cricketers, the owner of the investment company has categorically denied any wrongdoing, 24NewsHD reported on Friday.
Speaking to the media, he said that the players have been investing with him since 2023, and that all agreements are supported by formal written contracts.
He added that the players also hold company-issued guarantee checks, refuting claims of fraud.
The Dubai-based company, he explained, primarily engages in trading.
The owner confirmed that he has never traveled to the United States and does not hold a US visa, and is currently maintaining regular contact with the players.
He acknowledged minor delays in initial payments, which he said would be cleared in a few days.
“I am Pakistani, my family is in Pakistan, and we also have other investors. Payments are made regularly,” he said.
The controversy arose after reports claimed that both former and current cricketers were allegedly misled into investing millions of rupees with promises of unusually high returns, without filing formal complaints or approaching the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Responding, the players stated that no fraud occurred.
They confirmed that the company remains in regular contact and has promised to settle all pending payments by March, noting that only two checks had temporarily bounced.
The players also said PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi contacted them about the matter, and they assured him that no issues had arisen so far but would report any concerns if they occurred.
