An increase of Rs10 per watt in the price of solar panels is being witnessed, and the prices of 5-to 15 kilowatt solar panels increased by Rs2,00,000, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
According to details, the price of solar panels has increased from Rs30 to Rs40 per watt. The price of a five-kilowatt system has been set at Rs 650,000.
The price of a seven-kilowatt system has been set at Rs7,50,000, and the price of 10-watt solar panel system is Rs11,00,000, and 12 watt is being sold at Rs12,50,000.
The price of 15-kilowatt solar system is fixed at Rs15,00,000. The prices are fixed according to ongrid system. Consumers will have to pay additional charges for hybrid batteries
