Three arrested for illegal fireworks sale in Multan

Multan police have arrested three suspects involved in the illegal sale of fireworks, seizing explosives worth approximately Rs33 million, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday. 

Speaking to the media at the Police Lines, CPO Sadiq Ali Dogar confirmed that the arrested suspects have been identified as Javed, Noman Raza, and Sabir Ali.

The trio reportedly has a history of involvement in multiple fireworks-related cases.

The confiscated stock included 15,000 boxes of Chinese crackers, 35,000 Anar-e-Atashi (fountains), 25,000 Chakri Anars, 25,000 small and large chocolate bombs, and 1,500 boxes of phool jari.

The officials also recovered 2,000 Shurli rockets, 1,500 Shehnai Nalis, 15,000 small Anar bombs, and 15,000 bottle bombs.

Police have registered a formal case against the suspects and initiated further investigation.
