57 earthquakes struck Karachi in 23 days

The National Seismic and Tsunami Early Warning Center said that 57 earthquake tremors were felt in Karachi from June 1 to June 23, reported 24NewsHDTV channel on Monday.

According to a recently released report, the National Seismic and Tsunami Early Warning Center said that these earthquakes were felt in Malir, Korangi, DHA, Bhans Colony, Shah Latif Town, Quaidabad and Landhi areas of Karachi.

The maximum earthquake of 3.8 magnitude was recorded, whose epicenter was in Quaidabad, and the minimum magnitude of earthquake was 1.5, whose epicenter was Malir.

The intensity of 38 earthquakes was recorded at 1.5 magnitude to 3.8 magnitude. As many as 15 earthquake tremors were felt near DHA with intensity of 2 to 3.3 .

Four earthquakes were felt in the Korangi area, and the intensity of these earthquakes was 1.9 to 3.2 magnitude.
