The Lahore High Court will announce its decision on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s bail applications in eight cases related to the May 9 violence, including the high-profile Jinnah House attack case, on Tuesday.
A two-member bench comprising Justice Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi and Justice Tariq Mehmood Bajwa reserved the judgment earlier Monday after hearing arguments from both sides.
The former prime minister has sought bail in multiple cases stemming from the events of May 9, when protests erupted following his arrest last year, leading to attacks on sensitive installations, including the Corps Commander House in Lahore (Jinnah House).
The verdict, which could have significant political and legal implications, is set to be pronounced tomorrow at the Lahore High Court.
