After weeks of legal notices, public statements, and intense social media scrutiny, Pakistani actors Mamya Shajaffar and Arsalan Butt have officially drawn a line under their much discussed dispute by reaching a mutual settlement.
Taking to their respective Instagram handles, both actors shared copies of an e-stamp paper confirming that the controversy surrounding alleged workplace harassment and false accusations has been amicably resolved.
The agreement explicitly states that all previous events, statements, allegations, complaints, legal notices, and communications exchanged between the two parties are mutually forgiven and considered closed.
According to the document, Mamya Shajaffar and Arsalan Butt have agreed not to pursue, initiate, or support any future civil, criminal, regulatory, defamation, or harassment proceedings against each other in relation to the past controversy.
The stamp paper bears an issue date of June 22, 2026, while the agreement itself was formally executed on June 19, 2026. It also carries the signatures and thumb impressions of both individuals.
The settlement marks the end of a widely publicized dispute that erupted after Mamya Shajaffar spoke about an alleged unpleasant experience with Arsalan Butt during a podcast appearance. The claims prompted Arsalan to deny the allegations and file legal actions, including a defamation suit and complaints with the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). Mamya had also served a legal notice in response.
With the signing of the agreement, both actors have officially withdrawn all active legal filings, cybercrime complaints, and defamation proceedings, signaling a mutual decision to move forward and leave the controversy in the past.
