Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has been awarded an honorary fellowship by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in recognition of his contributions to healthcare, medical education, and research, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday.
The fellowship was conferred during a special ceremony attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who formally presented the honorary distinction to the Iranian president.
The event was also attended by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, along with senior government officials, diplomats, and members of the medical community.
According to officials, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan awarded the honorary fellowship in recognition of President Pezeshkian’s distinguished services in the fields of cardiac surgery, medical education, and scientific research.
