A large number of taxpayers and tax consultants faced difficulties as the link of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) website went down on Wedneday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In reaction, General Secretary of Pakistan Tax Bar Association Chaudhry Qamar Zaman said that the website of FBR should not be updated without giving notice to the taxpayers at that time when FBR has issued the tax schedule.
Qamar Zaman has said that people are facing difficulties accessing the website.
On the other hand, the FBR says that the website has been temporarily down for updating and it will be restored soon.
