Three people, including a child, were dead and another labourer was injured in different incidents in Kharian and Arifwala, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The first incident occurred in the Mekan area, where a labourer died when a shutter fell on him while another labourer received critical injuries.
In another incident, an eight-year-old child died on the spot when a speedy trawler hit him on Dhandali Road in Kharian.
After the accident, the driver of the trawler escaped from the scene.
Soon after receiving the report of the incidents, the Rescue 1122 team reached the area and shifted the dead bodies to a local hospital.
Police also took custody of the trawler, registered a case against the driver, and started an investigation.
Youngster dies in road accident in Arifwala
A young man died on the spot when a speedy bus hit him while he was crossing Sahiwal Road in Arifwala.
Eyewitnesses said that the young man was 15 years old while crossing the road.
The rescue team immediately reached the area and shifted the dead body to a local hospital.
