Punjab Energy Minister Dr Akhtar Mali has contracted COVID-19 in Multan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The coronavirus test result of the minister came back positive and now he has put himself in isolation.

According to his spokesperson, the minister has tested with novel coronavirus and requested for prayers and wishes from the people to fight COVID-19.
The death toll from coronavirus in Punjab stands at 324 with 14 more dying during the last 24 hours.

There are 18,730 confirmed Covid-19 cases (275 in last 24 hours) in the province. So far, 5906 people have recovered in Punjab (572 in last 24 hours).
