The price of gold Monday witnessed a sharp jump, as the dollar continues to dominate against the rupee, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The price of 24-carat gold went up by Rs2350 per tola. With this flight of gold, the price of 24-carat gold reached Rs141,650.
The price of 10-gram gold of 24-carat has also been increased by Rs2015 to reach Rs121,442. The price of 10-gram gold of 22-carat has also popped and now is being traded for Rs111,322.
The price of 24-carat silver has increased by Rs20 to reach Rs1590 and 10-gram silver remained popped by Rs17.14 to Rs 1363.16.
In the international market, the price of gold per ounce has also increased by $15. The international rate for gold per ounce has now reached $1862.
