Al Qadir Trust case: Imran Khan to show up at NAB Rawalpindi Office

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan is due in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi office in connection with the Al Qadir Trust case, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday,

The bureau sought relevant data and documents and it summoned the PTI chief to appear in person.

On May 18, the PTI chief skipped the appearance saying he could not appear because he was in Lahore and seeking bail in multiple cases.

The bureau took Imran Khan in custody on May 9, inviting ire among his supporters and party persons.

The PTI activists took to the streets to vent their spleen against the arrest of Imran Khan. They damaged public property and sensitive installations across the country.

The mobsters storm the GHQ in Rawalpindi, Corps Commander House in Lahore and Radio Pakistan in Peshawar. Innocent people were killed in the rioting that left a trail of destruction.

The PTI chairman and his wife Bushara Bibi are facing charges of being involved in the 190 million pounds scam.
