Rescue 1122 officials have recovered the body of a missing Japanese tourist after a search operation that continued for seven days in the mountainous region of Gilgit-Baltistan, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.
According to rescue authorities, the body was found trapped in a deep ravine at Masur Rock in the Hussainabad area of Skardu.
Officials said rescue teams continued the operation despite difficult terrain, steep mountain routes, and dangerous conditions.
Using ropes and specialized rescue equipment, teams successfully retrieved the body from the ravine, authorities added.
