The presence of stray dogs in Karachi has not become a threat only for humans but also for sacrificial animals as five goats and sheep were killed while two were injured when they were torn apart by stray dogs in the KDA Officers Housing Society near the National Stadium on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

On the other hand, City21 has managed to obtain CCTV footage of the incident.

The animals, purchased for the purpose of sacrifice on Eidul Adha, had been tied with trees outside a bungalow when some stray dogs pounced upon them and mauled them, resulting in the deaths of four goats and one sheep.

Unfortunately, no one came forward to rescue the animals while they were being attacked by the dogs.

The incident has not only made owners of these animals worried but also residents of the area who have demanded the administration to take notice of the presence of stray dogs in their locality and take steps to cull them.
