Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi playing active role in Iran-US peace deal

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi intensified diplomatic efforts for a permanent ceasefire agreement between Iran and the United States during his visit to Tehran.

According to official sources, Mohsin Naqvi held a telephone conversation with Saudi Interior Minister Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Saud from Tehran, during which the two leaders discussed the regional situation and ongoing Iran-US talks.

Both interior ministers agreed to enhance Pakistan-Saudi Arabia security cooperation and expressed their determination to strengthen bilateral security ties.

During his stay in Tehran, Mohsin Naqvi also met Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Iranian counterpart Eskandar Momeni.

The Pakistani interior minister also held a meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as part of consultations on regional peace and security.
