Sindh Civil Secretariat has been closed for public after nine cases emerged, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Chief Secretary Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah has suspended all activities for next few days including personal hearings of officers amid the COVId-129 spread fears.
Mumtaz Ali Shah has isolated himself in his home, the TV channel reported.
Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah announced on Monday that he had tested positive for coronavirus. In a series of tweets, the chief minister observed that he had a slight fever on Friday, and decided to get tested after Friday prayers.
The CM said he had a slight fever still, but his overall condition was stable. He added that he has isolated himself as per his doctors' advice.
