Continuous power outages in November caused operations at central pumping stations to be halted for several hours.
Officials said that steps should be taken to ensure a constant, stable, and uninterrupted power supply to central pumping stations.
They said that serious notice should be taken of the damage caused to pumping machinery due to frequent cable faults.
Steps should be taken for alternative feeders, standby cables and technical upgradation in central pumping stations.

Water supply has returned to normal across the city after K-Electric restored power. All possible steps are being taken to further improve the water supply system.
