Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal has claimed that he holds a parliamentary majority, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
The chief minister took to Twitter to announce that he has the support of 41 members and all allies stand by him.
"Why do we count opposition as part of this coalition? if they stick to this policy, then they should announce themselves as part of the opposition too," CM Kamal tweeted.
Alhamdulillah we all are 41 as coalition(BAP, PTI, ANP, HDP, JWP, PPP, Azad, BNP-A)

And out of this 41 members 80% stands with us
Why do we count opposition as part of this coalition. if they stick to this policy then they should announce themselves as part of opposition too.
The chief minister’s tweet comes days after Food Minister Abdul Rehman Khetran tabled a no-confidence motion in the provincial assembly. Of 65, 33 members backed the motion, meeting the need to pass the motion.
The Balochistan Assembly Speaker Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo fixed October 25 (Monday) for voting. A demand for securing the release of five “ missing lawmakers” was also raised.
A two-judge bench of the Balochistan High Court dismissed constitutional petitions for keeping Jam Kamal as the parliamentary leader of the Balochistan Awami Party.
Separately, the court dismissed a petition filed for the recovery of four ‘missing’ members of the Balochistan Assembly.
The ‘disappeared’ BAP lawmakers - Akbar Aksani, Bushra Rind, Laila Tarin and Mahjabeen Sheeran - appeared.
In a video statement, Aksani said: “some friends” spread the rumours that they had gone missing.
He added that he had been in Islamabad for “some personal work” and added that he was with Balochistan Assembly Speaker Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and returning.
Clarifying the rumours in a video earlier, CM Kamal said the accusation regarding missing provincial assembly members was uncalled for.
“Some members had to correct themselves that they were not missing and were there. Even their signatures were available on the application submitted to the Balochistan Assembly speaker,” CM Kamal said.
