An explosion occurred near a railway track in Quetta on Tuesday, which halted the departure of Jaffar Express from the city’s railway station, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The incident took place in Dasht area of Quetta.
According to details, the railway track remained safe after the explosion. The departure of Jaffar Express was delayed for Peshawar due to a suspension in security clearance.
Earlier on August 10, 2025, an improvised explosive device (IED) blast had derailed five coaches of the Peshawar-bound Jaffar Express in Balochistan, Pakistan Railways confirmed in yet another attack targeting the train.
