Gold prices soared to an all-time high in Pakistan on Tuesday with one tola rate soaring to Rs400,000 for the first time, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In the local market, the per-tola price of 24-karat gold surged to Rs400,000 after a single-day rise of Rs6,000.
In the international market, the price of one ounce of gold increased by $31 and reached $3,757 per ounce.
The 22-karat gold was being purchased at Rs366,666 per tola.
The price of 21-karat gold reached Rs350,000, and silver metal is available at Rs6,000 per tola.
