An Anti-Terrorism Court of Islamabad has extended judicial remand of seven arrested workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) till October 5 in protest at Shahrah-e-Dastoor case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the case.
The investigating officer stated that the accused could not be produced today because the identification parade process had not yet been completed.
The police requested an extension of the accused's judicial remand to facilitate the identification parade.
The court granted the police's request and ordered that the accused be produced on October 5 after the completion of the identification parade process.
The PTI workers were arrested in connection with a case registered at the Secretariat Police Station.
Federal Constitutional Court accepting request of Barrister Gohar has adjourned the hearing of the case regarding the disqualification of PTI MNA Sohail Sultan for two weeks.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Aamer Farooq conducted the hearing.
