The Federal Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives has released economic data, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to the Ministry, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth stood at 3.7 percent, and per capita income rose to $1,900.
State Bank foreign exchange reserves reached $21.4 billion, while remittances totaling $7.3 billion were recorded during July and August.
Large-scale manufacturing registered a 3 percent year-on-year increase.
Production and export sectors have regained momentum.
Three percent year-on-year growth recorded in Large-Scale Manufacturing.
Manufacturing output rose by 9.5 percent compared to June.
Merchandise exports stood at $5.4 billion during July-August.
Total exports of goods and services reached $7.3 billion.
Exports increased by 9.2 percent compared to the previous year.
Service exports in the digital economy grew by 29 percent.
ICT exports saw a 17.5 percent year-on-year increase and ICT exports reached $811 million.
