The Pakistan Cricket Board has officially begun the search for a new bowling coach for the national cricket team following the departure of current bowling coach Ashley Noffke.
Noffke, who serves as Pakistan’s white-ball and interim Test bowling coach, will leave the national team after the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, he has accepted the position of head coach of the Netherlands men’s cricket team.
Noffke will complete a 16-month spell with Pakistan after the Asian Games. Pakistan’s men’s cricket team will enter the tournament directly at the quarter-final stage on September 28, 2026.
The PCB has formally advertised the bowling coach vacancy and invited applications from eligible candidates.
According to the advertisement, applicants must hold at least a Level 3 cricket coaching qualification and have a minimum of five years’ coaching experience.
The board will accept applications until October 8, 2026.
Noffke initially joined Pakistan’s coaching set-up in May 2025 under white-ball head coach Mike Hesson.
