According to details, the snake entered the students’ room at the hostel, causing fear among those present. The sudden appearance of the reptile created concern among hostel residents, who took immediate action to get rid of it.
The incident has raised concerns about the growing risk of snakes and other harmful pests around the university’s hostels amid changing weather conditions.
Students have called on the university administration to take immediate safety measures around the hostel buildings to prevent snakes and other dangerous creatures from entering residential areas.
They have particularly demanded the cleaning of bushes and overgrown areas around the hostels, saying proper maintenance could help reduce the chances of snakes hiding near the buildings.
The students have also urged the administration to carry out anti-snake spraying and other necessary pest-control measures around the hostel premises to ensure a safer environment for residents.
